All Wisconsin farms I have ever been to have pastures where cows eat grass. When saying "100% Grassfed", brands are legally required to hold a Trademark labeling the percentage of grass eaten, and I've never seen any whey in the world that is truly 100%. Again, this includes brands who say 100% Grassfed. In fact, 99.9% of brands don't even hold the required Trademark.

Want proof? Ask any brand making the claim, and make sure you receive a document they didn't make themselves.

Why is it so unregulated? I have yet to figure this out, but my only educated guess is that it works on selling consumers items at higher prices and some brands will do anything to do it.
